Aquarian: JU's Literary and Arts Magazine
Edition 56: Harmony & Dissonance
Aquarian is opening submissions to current students. We will accept up to 10 submissions per submitter and we ask you to submit them individually. Each piece asks for an artist biography as well as a description/explanation of the piece. This is especially important for visual pieces as they will be used for accessibility purposes.
This edition of Aquarian is themed Harmony & Dissonance. Feel free to submit any work you feel capture's this theme in any way. We want to see your interpretations!
Deadline to submit is December 3rd by midnight.
Aquarian's statement on the use of Artificial Intelligence: Aquarian Magazine only accepts pieces which reflect JU student intelligence and creativity. All intelligence must be human. If AI was used in any part of your creative process, you MUST disclose so. This may effect our decision on whether or not to accept your piece.

We have a limit of 10 minutes per piece submitted.
For dance submissions, the choreography has to be original.
For music submissions, the lyrics and instrumental compositions/rearrangements must be original. They do not have to contain lyrics.
For performance and film, such as spoken word or acting, the script must be original.

Any poetic style is accepted (Limerick, Ode, Elegy, Epic, Sestina, Blank verse, Sonnet, Free Verse, Haiku, etc).

We have a limit of 10 pages double-spaced per piece in order to fit it into the publication (Creative-Nonfiction, Fiction, Heroic, etc). No academic papers will be accepted. (Does it need a works cited? Then its academic)
